"We chose to stay inside Torres del Paine National Park, and it truly couldn’t have been a better decision. Hotel Lago Grey’s location is ideal for full-day hikes and for access to the boat ride to see Glaciar Grey.
We had all of our meals at the hotel restaurant and were quite pleased with the quality of the food. The majority of the dishes were thoughtfully prepared and consistently excellent, especially after long days out exploring.
The absolute highlight of our stay was the excursions booked through the hotel. A special shoutout to our guide Dani (and our driver Dani as well!). Dani, our guide, took the time to understand exactly what kind of experience we were looking for, asked all the right questions, and impressed us deeply with her passion for nature and her love for sharing Patagonia. Her knowledge and enthusiasm truly elevated our time in the park.
Patagonia’s weather changes every few hours, and the hotel staff were incredibly flexible and helpful in adjusting plans and recommending the right experiences based on the conditions each day - something we really appreciated.
One small note for light sleepers: rooms facing the lake (like ours) can get quite windy and noisy at night. Completely understandable given the hotel’s incredible location inside the park, but it’s worth bringing earplugs just in case.
We would go back again in a heartbeat. Hotel Lago Grey made our Torres del Paine experience unforgettable."
"I cannot thank the wonderful staff of Morrena Lodge enough for helping coordinate our efforts to reach the Lodge the day we were scheduled to arrive despite a flight disruption, especially Javiera, Valentina and Francisca.
You run a simply world class operation and have everything a visitor would need to enjoy the natural treasure that is Torres del Paine. Thank you again and God Bless! "
"Wonderful location in the middle of Punta Arenas. Beautiful hotel. Spotless and very well maintained. The concierge and staff were excellent. We stayed for the buffet dinner and absolutely loved it. Large selection of healthy options and desserts too! This is the place to stay if you're staying in Punta Arenas. Will most certainly return next time I passing through this part of wonderful Chile."
"Great ambiance, family oriented and welcoming atmosphere. Very attentive to details and appreciative of guests’ responsiveness. Simple and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended. "
"The room was very clean. Had everything we needed. Great shower. The people that work there are amazing. There was always someone who spoke English. They were willing to help. From putting new battery in my luggage scale. To giving directions to ATMS and the main square. Also directions to the best coffee shops in town. The breakfast was better than average. Let use have a late check out without charge. It was a little warm and there was no AC but the window did open and make it tolerable. "
