"The hotel is a great place to stay. Very sophisticated and clean. The location was excellent. The lobby and bar are lovely. Only negative is bathroom supplies are inadequate. Only one bar soap that had to be used for both washing hands and showering. Also no face washing towels."

"I absolutely loved the location of this hotel - it was right in the heart of everything and the balcony room was awesome to step out and be a part of the hustle and bustle. There were actually two balcony areas because we had a corner area. The only thing I would mention is that they did not have Air Conditioning - only heat. So coming from Minnesota, we tend to handle the cold a little better but the saving grace to our initially hot room was opening the doors to the balconies to cool the room off. Plus we had our travel fans. But other than that, the room was small but very cute and had everything we needed. Again - very pleased! We didn't eat the breakfast but our friend did and said it was REALLY good! I definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The place generally looks very good. My room had a horrible leak from the shower door that leaked almost an inch and a half of water to the whole bath area. You could see that this had happened before. Also, there was a break in the electrical line to the hairdryer, which in a wet bathroom is not a good idea. Breakfast bar was average priced, but everything was cold and it was 8 o’clock am."

"Well equipped & comfortable room. We were in an inner room with no balcony. We had some windows into the atrium, but not much natural light. This meant that we did not hear any noise coming off La Rambla. Comfy bed in main bedroom and the sofa bed was also a good size. Kitchen had washing machine and dishwasher and pretty much everything we needed."

"Comfortable rooms and convenient location. Staff were helpful and professional. It was easy to store our bags at the front desk after our early cruise-port arrival before our rooms were ready, and again after checkout before heading to the airport for our evening flight. We did experience a fair amount of street noise. Our room was on the side alley and in addition to late-night revelers walking by at all hours (especially on weekends), there were huge rattling/banging/scraping sounds for 15-20 minutes at a time in the middle of the night (taking the trash out? delivering/removing linens?). It presumably wasn't as loud as it would have been on a major street, but it did disrupt our sleep multiple times. (White noise apps on our phones helped!) We weren't able to get the A/C working the first night (so it was hot and stuffy, and we didn't have the white noise that the fan made, which was helpful for the outside noise). But the next morning, the desk clerk came up and fiddled with it and got it to work (very unintuitive; the unit turns off if you set it "too low"). We were worried about whether taxis would bring us there, after hearing other travelers' stories about access to the roads within the Gothic Quarter -- but we didn't have a problem, though one taxi did ask to drop us off at the top of the road (a very short walk away)."

"This was the best stay I believe I have ever had. Once we brought our luggage through the door we didn’t touch it until we were in our room. At the end of our stay we left it in room and next time we saw it was in our cruise cabin. The staff were helpful on getting cabs, information, to the port. All did a fantastic service. "

"This hotel is a great option for a quick visit or business. Its location is central to various landmarks, museums, shopping and dinning BUT the main entrance is hidden and taxis cannot drop you off or pick you up from the hotel entrance. If you're traveling with large suitcases getting to and entering the building is a little problematic due to the gate and cobblestone like streets. You also have to walk a few blocks to get a taxi. The staff was great for the most part. My flight landed very late the day I arrived. The employee who helped me check-in was great. He's was friendly and helpful. There was one guy who watched a loud movie when I was working in sitting area by the reception desk. A little weird when guests are present but he did turn it down when asked. All in all, I had a nice experience. The room was quite nice - modern but not cold. "
