We took public transit (Streetcar) from the Ferry Building/Embarcadero to Pier 39. Rooms were very clean & the views of the bay and Transamerica Building were such a great bonus! We will be back!! "

"This is a large five-story hotel a block (or two) from the waterfront with the various wharfs. It is a safe and easy walk to the entire waterfront. There are many places to eat in the area. The hotel has a very, very large lobby area. Also, it represents a great value. "

The pier for Alcatraz is less than fifteen minutes away. Fisherman’s Warf or the Cable Car stop is five minutes away. And the best, a Trader Joe’s is three minutes away. "
