"This is a brand new hotel that just opened 2 months ago. It was an amazing hotel, very beautiful, in an excellent location in the Centro Historico part of Mazatlan. The rooms were nicely done and comfortable. The service was outstanding. Everyone who works here is very helpful and nice. My wife and I stayed here and we will be coming back soon because we loved it so much."

"We are snowbirds down in Mazatlan. I surprised my hubby with a little getaway for our anniversary. Such a little gem in histórico Mazatlan. Easy walk to dinner en Plaza Macado. The whole hotel was so well done, really unique with lots of character. Staff were so nice.Very clean. Couldn’t beat the price and nice breakfast included. Highly recommend!"

"Overall, we did enjoy our stay at Boca de Cielo Apartments. The complex is about a mile from the Olas Oltas Beach area, which has many restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. There is nothing else closer so we did a lot of walking. We enjoy walking so that was okay with us but may be a deterrent for others. The view from the unit is great. Our check-in process was poor as the owner was supposed to send an email with directions on how to get into the apartment. The email never showed up...

"The place was wonderful; however, the communication with those who book the room was horrible. Upon arriving at the spot which I believed to be the hotel, the address given was incorrect, as was the photo. Thank God the folks renting some of the apartments heard my calls and helped me out. The manager, JC, was also amazing!!!!"

"The friendly staff is managed by the English-speaking morning desk attendant, who thoughtfully put this "old guy" into a ground floor room. He also obtained a cab to the airport for me at the end of my stay. I've stayed here twice, so I can attest the rooms are clean and everything in them (TV, toilet & sink spigots, overhead fan, AC/de-humidifier/ventilator & hot water shower) work just fine. We always felt safe. Our room was on the same level as the pool (small) but very nice. It was our first trip to Mazatlan & overall it exceeded our expectations. "
