Hotels in Drogheda

"This hotel was an excellent property for an overnight stay before or after a flight out of Dublin International. There is an efficient, clean, shuttle to and from the property every 30 minutes. The restaurant was comfortable, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only problem that I had with the room was the overused, overpowering fragrance that is used causing a fragrance sensitive person to have a heavy runny nose, blocked sinus and chest issues. To be fair other hotels have started this practice and I wish they would stop because it causes breathing problems for scent entice people."

"Attractive room, a bit small. Comfortable beds. I appreciated the tea and biscuits that were refreshed each day we were there. Location is excellent—adjacent to the airport with a frequent shuttle (every 20 !minutes!). Also adjacent to the 41 bus line which runs into the city. "

"The place was better than expected for an airport hotel, staff great, room, roomier than expected, some amenities near by. The restaurant was good, food as expected, staff friendly. I want to note that I booked through Expedia and wanted to change my date to two days later after planning my trip out. It was difficult to negotiate a simple date change a month or so ahead of time but the hotel was flexible and allowed the change at no price increase after a fair amount of back and forth. Thank you to the hotel, they could have just taken my money and ran but did the right thing by changing the date!!!!"

"Location was great, Kealys restaurant next was great, but the hotel rooms looks like they were renovated in a hurry and sloppy. They were fine just a little rough around the edges."

"Spacious room, clean hotel, nice bar area. I felt guest details required at check in were more than most hotels request and had not received any notification to bring ID. Check in was professional, but not particularly warm or friendly. "

"I had stayed here in hope that the four stars was a good sign. On the first day I ordered food from the hourglass bar and restaurant. They brought my starter and main course out at the same time they then took the main back and instead of cooking my steak fresh for when I wanted it they reheated the original one which made the steak very chewy and unpleasant. I then used the restroom to the left of the lobby and it was a mess (I have taken pictures). My room was supposed to be a superior queen bed… it was a double bed. The bathroom door had obviously been broken down and was held back together with screws which I caught my coat on. The shower was dirty and the cleaning overall was below a three star standard. I believe that the four stars that it has on the building was from a while ago as the standards set this weekend was a more of a two star. I will not be staying there again. The price was really high for this when I could get a budget hotel with the same standard"

"This was very convenient to the airport. But really no amenities. Unlike travel lodges in the US, no microwaves or refrigerators. Basically beds and bathroom. Staff was friendly. No microwave available in the lobby. Coffee/ tea available ( instant coffee) in the room , but available for a charge in the lobby."
