"Over the past decade we have stayed in dozens hotels and resorts in Thailand but this place stands out for cleanliness and how helpful and friendly every single staff member has been during our stay. The pool and beach are being kept immaculately clean, there is free use of paddle boards and beach chairs and for a fee you can get a massage on the beach. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of Thai and western dishes and again was fantastically clean with the staff dealing with anything immediately."

"A-Nay-Lay is a beautiful little resort located in a calm little bay. The snorkelling there is wonderful so bring your mask and fins. The food is edible, but nothing to write home about and bring your own coffee. There’s a little store close, so you can go and buy the things you need. They rent scooters so you can get around and the staff is lovely! "

"Lovely little resort and great location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and meals are available throughout the day and early evening. Beach area is nice and clean, however, walking further away from the resort there is a lot of plastic, which is a shame. The gardens are immaculate. The accommodation is quite small and the bathrooms out side. The beds are quite hard and it took a couple of days to get used to them. If I return to Koh Kood I will definitely book this resort. "

"Staff are really friendly and happy to help with anything! Incredible views. Can hire a moped to get around the island from the hotel. Restaurant on the beach does good food and nice cocktails!"

"We had a wonderful stay 2-night stay at the Shantaa during our recent trip to Koh Kood. We felt instantly relaxed upon arrival. The rooms were well spaced and very private feeling. The food at the restaurant was nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast experience. The staff were amazing and we weree well looked after. "
