10/10 Excellent
"Everything is great except the parking space might be tight especially during the weekend. Also the location is good ( walking distance from the train station) but far from
many main attractive points so driving may be a better way to tour around the city."
"When we were checking in the young man who checked us in was somewhat officious and gave us misinformation about the pool, saying that they did not provide bathing caps, and rather imperiously directed us to a nearby department store. We dutifully went and bought our caps, but when we went swimming, the very nice pool lady said they indeed had bathing caps if we wanted to borrow them. It was a bad introduction to what is quite a nice hotel. Our only other complaint is that the pool hours were quite short. The unfriendly check in guy said that even though the pool was open till 5, last entry was at 4. Who knows if that is true — he was wrong about the bathing caps! But we did not test it out.
Having said that, the rest of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite excellent in quality and variety of foods on offer. And the pool (when open) was very nice. Room was nice and had a good view."
"This was a beautiful hotel, we were so surprised at how nice it was. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for us to have our own space. The hot springs and steam room were a very nice treat. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again."
"Decent and spacious hotel. Seems like a good value. I wasn’t fond of the area but luckily the hotel provided bicycles that we could use to ride around the beach area. "
"Kindness is an apt word, but also generous! My jaw dropped in amazement when the clerk at check-in handed me a paper that listed all the free amenities. Staff are extremely accommodating (helped me navigate a phone call, helped me park in lot, checked daily to see if we wanted housekeeping, helped with a laundry issue, and someone is constantly cleaning, in other words housekeeping is perfect! There is a second comforter in cabinet if needed. Abundant breakfast buffet which introduced me to some special items new to me (wood ear,, an apple-like melon, braised greens-possibly sweet potatoe greens?—cooked radish, taro, braised pigs feet with beans which was actually delicious, eggs different ways including scrambled with special pieces of this/that with different flavors, chicken stewed with chestnuts etc..). But snacks!! Taiwanese chips and crackers, coffee, teas,?ICE CREAM x 6 FLAVORS (grape, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, milk caramel and Valentine fruit). Fabulous, comfortable place that has spoiled other hotels for us now!! Forgot the mention: late night snack available —looked like a buffet—but we were full from dinner so we did not partake (so nice and generous that would make us feel guilty). Very grateful for 3 nights of Kindness’
