"The property is very nice and well situated in town. Breakfast was nice and the bar next door was fun. While I understand it is old and maybe difficult to handle certain aspects, the musty smell and apparent mold in the bathroom was unpleasant. However maybe this isn’t the case in the newer rooms."

"Wow, that's a manager as well as Bridget. They were both amazing and wonderful. Very welcoming and every morning we would chitchat over the place is a hidden gem and anyone who goes there will feel welcome and wonderful."

"Very heavy dust in the bathroom vent. No hot water for showers both mornings. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Coffee was good. Unfortunately, our first night we had a barking dog across from us that barked continuously for 45 minutes. We finally called the front desk and it stopped. This should not be allowed to continue to happen. Location in proximity to the beach we would stay again."

"Wonderful property located on the harbor with the boat ramp’s literally across the street. It was very clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful with all questions. It is located in the perfect location with a large option of surrounding restaurants and bars. "

"The beach view from our villa was mostly obstructed. The listing showed a balcony, but our room was on the ground floor with a patio that had no lighting, making it unusable at night. The photos used for booking are misleading and do not accurately represent what you get. The resort includes multiple buildings with different types of villas, a hotel, and smaller units, but this is not clearly explained during booking—so you don’t really know which accommodations you’re reserving. There was no kitchen; however, we booked a double queen room (not a suite), so that part was acceptable. That said, the villa itself needs a thorough cleaning and updating. The common areas and building exterior also show a lack of maintenance and upkeep. Overall, the room did not feel worth the price we paid. That said, the resort itself has a lot to offer—we enjoyed the amenities, shops, dining options, views, pool, beach, and natural surroundings, especially riding around in the golf cart we rented. The hotel next to the villas was a highlight, with brunch, live music in the evenings, a large pool, great views, and a boardwalk to the beach. Access to these hotel amenities for villa guests was a definite plus."
