"Only book for under $100. Only good quality was the location to the public beach. Staff was unfriendly and lazy. Trash was left on the patio and in the lobby for days. You only recieve one tiny half sized towels for the room and you cant even adjust the thermostat. "

"Staying at Hilton Cabana was a huge mistake. I paid extra to upgrade to a bay view room, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The shower door wouldn’t close, the fridge didn’t work, the telephone was broken, and even the coffee maker was not functioning. When I contacted the front desk, they sent someone to check the shower door, and he said it needed to be replaced. As for the phone and fridge, no one seemed to care or take any action. They didn’t even offer to move me to another room. The manager was particularly rude. A staff member initially said they would waive the upgrade charge and offer some restaurant credit, but the manager later said he needed to confirm with that employee before approving anything. Not only did they ignore the issues, but they were also reluctant to provide any compensation. I strongly advise against staying here. The photos are misleading, and the service does not match expectations."

"We love this place. This is our second stay. The pool and beach are impeccably maintained. All of the restaurants are great.we preferred the Arkadia Grill as it was the most laid back restaurant. ."

"Rude, unwelcoming staff. I never felt wanted and felt like I was bothering them every time I approached the front desk. We arrived at 12pm and politely asked for early check-in, but they refused—even when we checked again at 2:50pm, they still said “not yet” because check-in is 3pm. They promised an email when the room was ready, but we heard nothing. After waiting, I called at 3:45pm and only then did they release the room key. It honestly felt intentional—like they didn’t want to give us access until well after check-in time. To make matters worse, the front desk claimed I checked in late, while the valet said I arrived early—clearly just to justify charging an extra $20 valet fee. We ended up paying more for parking despite leaving at noon the next day, which should fall within a 24-hour stay. According to them, everything must be strictly 3pm–3pm, completely to their convenience. The room was dirty: socks under the bed and a shoe size sticker still on the headboard. The nighttime dessert from the snack kiosk was inedible—we threw it out. At the beach, chairs were broken, no staff was available to help, and when we finally grabbed empty chairs ourselves, someone showed up just to tell us we couldn’t sit there. Umbrellas were not allowed, unlike other nearby resorts. Breakfast was overcrowded and far from relaxing. When I requested a courtesy late checkout due to the poor check-in experience, they dismissed me, said there were no notes, and essentially called me a liar—c"

"I paid for a balcony on the oceanside to sit and listen to the ocean and the next door loud music parties from 7 pm to 1 am ruined it for starters. There was no peace in the evenings. The balconies are all made with simple bars. Anyone can jump over to your balcony which is unsettling. The air conditioner unit is right below the units. So, even if there isn't any music, this is a constant during the day anyways. I had one issue with the room which was the nightstands which had no outlets and pulled away from the wall a bit. The cleaning staff had a problem with supplying our room with enough towels, etc. When I asked for a washcloth, she wouldn't give it to me. It made no sense not giving me a washcloth. I would not recommend paying for a balcony side view of the ocean here."

"I absolutely love the Croydon! I’ve stayed here before and it’s so convenient. Great restaurant onsite, feel of a boutique-style hotel, the room is standard (at least the one I stayed in) but it’s perfect and clean. Street parking available, I parked right in front of the main entrance and left my car there the entire stay. My only complaint is the gym. Not much of one, really. It’s outdoors with an awning, some rusted weights, bikes and a bench. Definitely expected more because the hotel is so lovely. This won’t deter me from staying here again, though, I’d definitely be back. Just something to think about for a future space."
