"The rooms are 2 floors above a pub & restaurant, fairly quiet as the 1st floor dining room insulated any pub noise. Rooms were fully modern and well attributed with coffee/tea and cookies. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful when the pub was open. There was a secure entrance/exit for hotel guests, so if needed you didn't have to go through the pub, however it was only stairs, no elevator. The food was excellent with ample menu choices. "The Kensington Gardens appt was in a great location, close to several tube stop, in a safe area for families with kids. Several grocery stores nearby. The appt was spotless, perfect size for a couple or a small family. They kindly let us check-in earlier since we had several suitcases and small children. Would definitely stay here again when in London! "

"Quiet neighborhood adjacent to a private park. Small hotel in residential area but short walk to commercial street with ok restaurants. Not far from Notting Hill with excellent choices for food and boutiques. Room was tiny with two twin beds that were soft. Affordable and serviceable. "

"The Laslett is a lovely boutique hotel in the charming Notting Hill neighborhood. The tube is just around the corner and you are close to Portobello Road with all its wonderful cafes and restaurants. On Saturdays there is a very fun market on Portobello Road. "

"This property is newly renovated. The staff go out of their way to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. I was in a room in the basement level, which I hesitated at first, but it was very secure and quiet. Great hotel in an area close to Notting Hill, the Quensway and Westbourne Grove. Close to subway (Notting Hill Gate) and (Bayswater) and bus routes. Very easy to get around. Right near Kensington Palace and gardens. "

"Just stayed for 3 nights in B01, the basement room with kitchenette. Great location, quiet, housekeeping and remote staff were on it. You just have to appreciate the deal you’re getting for the location and the kitchenette. It’s older, but you’re in Hyde Park London. Gorgeous street, responsive team. The bedding could be softer, the pillows could be better, but for the price it was far beyond what I expected. Very safe and quiet with everything you need a quick walk away. I would absolutely stay...
