"Yes… view was great… location was excellent.. older property built in the 70s and they are clearly not putting a lot of money into it as it appears to be slated for demolition in the near future for million dollar condos by St Regis…needs a remodel to compete with newer projects.. but won’t happen.. could however put more effort into cleaning.. room carpet was dirty .. no reason not to clean those on a regular basis. Beds were OK and got a good nights sleep. "

"Beach service not good ,long coffee lines in the morning, elevators so slow I recommend lower floor so you can walk and get exercise at the same time "

"Shower didn’t work! Called for help and technicual couldn’t fix. When I asked for the room to be comped, was told it’s a condo/owner-owned and they can only comp resort fees. Also, lots of hidden fees including $50 valet charge which you must use because there are no other parking options. So ended up paying over $400 for a room with no working shower. Incredibly disappointing way to start our vacation."

"This was my second time staying at Maren. My favorite part of the hotel is being right across the street from the beach. It’s close to all the local restaurants and Elbo room which I haven’t visited myself but every time we pass by it’s always packed. Also Sean is amazing, he makes sure you are well prepared for your stay and has loads of recommendations. Would recommend. Small disclaimer. There is construction nearby but honestly not that much of a bother."

"My stay at this hotel was amazing. The property has more of a boutique vibe — not a big, modern resort, but a smaller, homier space with personality. It’s not the most up‑to‑date hotel, but considering the boutique style, it’s still a very nice and well‑kept property. I arrived earlier than the standard check‑in time, and the staff was kind enough to let me check in early. That small gesture really set the tone for the rest of my stay and made me feel welcomed right away. One thing to note: the spa wasn’t just under renovation — it actually wasn’t on this property at all. It’s located at a sister property that guests have access to. I didn’t know that beforehand, so it was a little disappointing since the spa was a big reason I booked. Even with that, the rest of the experience made up for it. The location is truly perfect. There are plenty of walkable restaurants, the beach is right there, and it’s close to both the airport and the mall. I felt like I was in a great, convenient area with everything I needed nearby. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Once the spa situation is fully sorted out, it’ll be even better."
