Tv very small and everything written in Chinese. No body lotion. Swimming pool very dirty. Breakfast has very limited menu. Didn’t feel welcome when checked in. Not staying again.

Upon arrival, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The room was dirty with visible hair and cockroach eggs. The walls were mouldy. The bedsheets were stained and the pillows were discoloured with yellow marks. The bed base showed water staining consistent with flood damage. These conditions raised serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety.
In addition, the in room safe was broken and not mounted to anything, meaning it could easily be removed. This completely undermines the purpose of a safe and presents a clear security risk.
I raised these issues with hotel staff, however their response was defensive and dismissive, effectively communicating that I should accept what had been provided. Given the condition of the room and the lack of meaningful engagement from staff, I had no choice but to leave the property immediately and secure alternative accommodation at my own cost.
This experience was both distressing and disruptive to my travel plans. The property does not reflect the standard represented on your platform. I can provide photographs that clearly evidence the issues outlined above and substantiate my claim.
I request that Expedia review this matter and consider an appropriate refund for the unused stay.

I checked in around 2pm and was hoping to freshen up before heading out, but unfortunately towels weren’t available until close to 8pm. This seemed to be an ongoing issue, as towels were often not available until early evening on most nights.
Breakfast was included in my stay but was fairly average and nothing memorable. The lobby had an unpleasant odor throughout my stay, which wasn’t a great first impression. The lift is extremely slow—thankfully I was on the second floor and mostly used the stairs.
There were also tiny cockroaches in the bathroom, which was disappointing and concerning.
On the positive side, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the view from the rooftop pool is absolutely incredible and easily the highlight of the hotel.
Overall, despite the great staff and rooftop views, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

I enjoyed staying in Nalagi, but the hotel lobby is busy place, the wooden benches are not ergonomic at all for long waiting, get back pain. Also always we felt a bad smell in lobby maybe from sewage system,
Staff are friendly sometimes they cannot manage the restaurant in breakfast time in busy day, all dishes are empty and no tea bag or clean plates. Room are good and get cleaned daily. Sometimes they didn’t charge water inside fridge because they saw we bought water ourselves.

Room was advertised incorrectly. The additional bed was not suitable for an adult (not for a child either probably) but was not even set up anyway and did not have enough towels either. Had to request for the additional bed to be set up. We then requested to move rooms due to it not being suitable for an adult to sleep on what was considered an additional bed. Was told that we would be moving into a room with two queen beds but upon moving, found that it was still only suitable for two adults as the beds were only king singles. This meant that we were still short a bed. Housekeeping then set up the ‘sofa’, as per the first room, but only provided a cushion for a pillow, as well as only one sheet.
The second room on the booking also experienced issues and had to move rooms due to the air conditioning not working properly. I ended up sleeping on the floor, making a bed out of the lounge cushions because the sofa was not adequate to sleep on.
The check in was very slow with excessive waiting time. The lifts were very small and also very slow. We often used the stairs instead because it was much quicker.
Breakfast options were good but there was a long queue to get in, and the staff could not keep up with the amount of dishes, sometimes resorting to slop washing to keep up with the demand for plates etc. Plenty of options on the menu for dinner and the meals were large. Some of our orders were incorrect and also took a very long time despite being the only people there

I have stayed at Nalagi few time time before and everytine the Tv didnt work. Perhaps the tv in room for decoration only. Last night we stayed in room 326 , the air con is so old even thou we have set it up to cold , it didnt cool the room at all. Glad that room had a ceiling fan.

We only stayed for 1 night, the idea being somewhere to stop when we first land. The bedroom itself was fine, the bathroom had a really damp smell, and the whole room & hotel seems tired & needs a bit of love. Not what you would expect for a relatively new hotel. You get what you pay for, but we’d be unlikely to stay again. Some of the staff worked extremely hard, especially the bar staff in the upstairs bar. They could have done with extra staff, as one person was not enough but she really went out of her way! Not a biggy but our booking said welcome drink on arrival and this was not received which was fine but I feel the mama & love of the hotel was missing. It’s fine for what you pay
