Food poisoning after 2 days - from main buffet and à la carte - whole family was absolutely ill and bed bound for the remainder of our holiday. Most guests were the same, cranky sore tummy’s, in bed, very sick after eating from restaurants. We had to miss out on all our excursions. We reported to reception staff. Who instantly demanded no one else is sick in hotel, which I found quite alarming. First thought was to protect hotel and not care to us! (And I know others were absolutely ill because we’d spoken to 6 couples all the same!)
Our eldest child was also seen by hotel nurse - told he had a high fever and to remain in bed with fluids only. Our baby was very sick after eating from restaurant. The management has denied any responsibility or even acknowledged of our food poisoning, saying staff don’t have any records of us being unwell and we didn’t report it (WE 100% DID!) the nurse has no reports (I don’t know why because we were seen by her!)
Since emailing management it’s very clear they don’t care about anything but protecting hotel reputation- blaming us for being sick , not food poisoning, apparently our fault, can’t be from staff as they follow protocols.. clearly not when nothing was documented by them at anytime.
We were so ill we were in bed 4 days projectile vomiting, on water and Imodium, couldn’t move a muscle! Stomachs in agony. Children crying in pain.
Absolute nightmare and worst experience I’ve ever had for a holiday - save your money! Do NOT book
