Very nice and quiet place. We had excellent sunset views and cruise ships passing close by at night. Good snorkelling right out front and vigie beach is walking distance. It’s a sandy beach with nice gradual drop off. No water shoes required. Don’t expect any frills but it has what you need for a nice stay.

This is a great property and the owner and staff are great. They drove us to Castries and to the store and were available and helpful on many occasions. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and the sound of the waves made sleeping easy after a busy day. Catching a mini bus just outside the door was a great and cheap.

None of the amenities advertised are available. No AC, No WiFi, One day, no water, One day, no electricity, No shuttle service to airport, No food available at all, Poorly furnished. Extremely Disappointed. I travel quite frequently and consider myself to be very low maintainance, but this is by far, the most misleading Guest House/Hotel in which I've ever stayed. I would catagorize Casa Del Vega as more of a Hostel than a Hotel. Although the staff is very kind and the view is amazing, I would not recommend CDV.

Beautiful room perfect for our needs. Great view for sunsets and rainbows. Judith was and is always pleasant and we love seeing and talking with her. We will be back soon and will definitely stay in this same room. Price is a great value for what you get. Perfect for anyone on a budget that wants to experience an ocean view with balcony, kitchen with stove, oven, full sized refrigerator, large bathroom. Good AC, hot water and pressure.

It is conveniently located 2 minutes from the airport. It is quiet and peaceful. The view is breathtaking. The only problem I had was finding the receptionist or maitre d when needed. There was also a mix up with my check in. But I would totally still recommend this property!

Amazing staff very kind and helpful! Judy and Marla were fabulous, attentive and very sweet. The room was cleaned once during my week stay I’m sure more often could’ve been requested if you’d like. Vigi beach nearby isn’t the nicest on the island, still pretty though a bit of a ways down the street if you walk. Due to the location I had to travel a lot, most attractions are on the south side of the island. There’s also a street party definitely worth it more north but still a ways drive if you put it in GPS make sure you search “Frydays” Gros inlet for a landmark or you’ll be going up into residential area. The best thing you can do for affordability is rent a car, taxis are expensive. However the roads are narrow and winding, left side driving so keep that in mind if you’re from the west. Overall for the cost and the experience I had an amazing time. Highly recommend Simo as a tour guide he is connected to the place, he can set you up with the best spots and also can be there for safety. He was also very kind and approachable. I’m really grateful for my trip and this place! As a solo traveler I felt very safe here and the staff were amazing!

Location, it is actually walking distance from the airport and the (delectable) Vigie Beach. At the same time, even the supermarket requires a 10 usd taxi ride. But you don't go to St Lucía to go to Massy, right? The staff, lovely. Trying to make the most of the place. And magnificent views of the harbor and beyond from to 10. Not like: stingy, affection less use of the place. Careless decor, tasteless. Rooms not well equipped: kitchenette utensils look like leftovers from a flood; greasy patina around the one burner stove, not even a lamp on the night table... And so on. Private beach? A joke.
