Took a while to get my key from the burrito place. The room was nice enough but i struggled the sleep as there was a cigarette smoke smell coming from the landing. In the morning i had to step over a man sleeping outside my room with cigarette butts and ash all over. If I had seen him the night before this would have scared me for sure. I did message the hotel about the smell that evening, on the number they supplied, but no reply. Won't stay again as they leave the doors to the hallways open.

Nice place to stay bang in the centre of town, property is in good condition for its age. wifi could be better i was on the first floor and didnt connect very well but apart from that was a nice place to stay

Clean, tidy, good bathroom , excellent shower . Toilet seat cracked and repaired with black tape… needs replacing. Good value for money, nice people.

Booked an executive room. Didn’t feel like one, furniture not matching, door key took multiple times to open door. Tatty curtains. Took two requests to replenish coffee sachets. The sun hotel next door is better value for money.

Overall feel was very tired Thread bare carpets, broken tiles in ensuite, broken and missing handles in bath, sticky carpet. Even the sash windows were broken and stuck 4 inches open. I was awoken 2 nights out of 3 by delivery trucks unloading at 4am to local shops. Not good when teaching the next morning!!

Car parking was ok and off street. Hotel reception was via the front of house restaurant that wasnt advertised as belonging to the hotel. Room has seen better days needs tlc to bring up to a good standard. Rooms was warm and the shower was good.

Room was very clean. The room has a lot of charm. Center of town . A little odd way of checking in inside of the burrito place, but unusual isn't necessarily bad. Had a nice sized fridge. Working AC/Heating. Good size TV screen. WiFi was good. Very comfortable bed.

Struggled to find reception at first but it was in the Mexican cafe next door, staff were attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. First room was lovely, clean, it is a very old quirky building which I love but some may prefer more modern. We went out for the evening and didn’t return until 1am - when we found out our TV wasn’t working properly, I contacted the number on the info and they sent someone straightaway to sort out and then changed our room - we ended up in the suite with four poster bed - beautiful character period room and again staff were friendly and super helpful. Would definitely stay again if needed to and thank you again to the staff for being so accommodating.

First! Its not aa hotel. To access the "hotel" one needs to register at a Taco restaurant. The restaurant does not open until 12:00 so there is no hotel. Rooms are scatterd through several buildings scattered through an alley adjacent to the restaurant. I paid up front as I was really in need of a room. I went to one, looked in, and asked for my money back. I did not receive a penney. Its a dump, period. Expedia should be ashamed to recommend such a filthy, decrepit evdevour. It is not a hotel, period. Dump!
