Very comfortable single night stay in a pretty modern downtown (Old Port) hotel. There was construction going on, but it did not affect me too much; I heard some drilling the next morning but not until after 8am--it didn't awaken me. Room is modern, clean and well appointed. Good lighting and water pressure in bathroom--stall shower is a bit narrow but otherwise great. Breakfast buffet was a pretty good selection at a reasonable rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The lobby is quite small and there is some sort of renovation going on. Not sure that is going to make it bigger or this is the new size. The breakfast room and 'gym' are below standard for a Hyatt. Not sure if this will change as well once the reno is done. The room was fine, very clean, good linens, and plenty of towels and such. It just doesn't have a lobby that makes you want to spend any time in.
