The Hotel and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. My wife had recently suffered a broken leg, which necessitated a room change to a dog friendly ground floor room. Food was plentiful and nice. The location although just outside off the A34 was quiet enough. WiFi was great and the pub/hotel itself was very dog friendly. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever down that way again

Very good. Room temp was very hard to control and room prep needed better attention to detail. Staffing very good apart from one person - we returned from a dinner around 10pm, she was clearing up behind the bar and it was very clear when we asked for nightcaps she wasn’t exactly enthused! Lovely rooms geat value for money. Food was lovely. Bar staff could have been better, didnt have any prosecco in fridge and didbt seem to want to use initiative to solve the issue with ice bucket and ice also told us we could finish our drinks outside at end of night - weird.
