The breakfast was disappointing mostly carbs. The front desk is rude, workers do not help guests trying to figure out where front office is, entrance for breakfast or parking. Parking is tight unless you have a compact car. Someone ignored the do not disturb on door and entered my room while I was at Dry Tortugas all day. . . to turn off the AC. I was furious. I paid over $400 for two nights. After a day 70+ miles off shore in the hot sun on Garden Key and the afternoon sun blaring in my room. I entered a stuffy uncomfortable room with the air off. Not right. I left it on 74°. Reasonable level and I didn't request service, the tag was hanging on the door. You. Do. Not. Enter. A. Guests. Room. I had things I didn't want stolen while snorkeling out in the room I expected to be undisturbed! That did it for me I will never stay here again. Invasion of privacy that made me feel unsafe. The best thing is Lexi the Macaw! She is friendlier than the woman at the front desk.

This is an older property but we would stay here again. However, Breakfast bar was limited and didn’t open early enough for us to eat and check in with the adventures we had booked. Maid service was ok but we needed additional shampoo n cream rinse. We didn’t appreciate the clean towels being left on the toilet. But the view we had was wonderful and the Ibis birds walking along the patio was a treat.

Room was just ok. Little sitting area out the back door was nice. Continental breakfast was about average to slightly better than average. But check your bill closely. They double charged me for the resort fee of $53 for the two days. And our friends’s bill was overstated by about $140 because they just randomly changed one of his rates for one of the nights. So make sure you get a print out when you’re leaving and check it closely. Oh, and the breaker tripped when us and our friends in room next-door were using hairdryers at the same time so we had a wait a while for maintenance to come out and flip the breaker back on

Room smelled like bleach and was pretty clean and simple. Comfortable bed. It was not a very private location and the cleaning staff decided the best place for gossip/staff meeting was 2 feet behind our car as we tried to pack up and they didn’t move at all. Could hear all the neighbors.

The breakfast doesn't start until 8, which is pretty late for a hotel breakfast. The food was ok. They no longer offer the free shuttle into town, even though they still advertise that they do. I am not really sure what the "resort" fee was for, since there were almost no included amenities. The room was nice and very clean. It was nice to have an outdoor table and hammock. Another guest was in need of jumper cables and the staff refused to help then locate some.

Clean quirky rooms. Comfy beds. Restaurant, bar, pool. Lots of activities. Just ok beach. We rented a golf cart & cruised around town. And a great time was had by all!

The hotel is falling apart... literally. We were on the 2nd floor & the boards on the walkways are rotting out. There were soft spots in the floor of our room. We were afraid to step in certain areas due to fear we would fall through. They have tortoises that looked neglected.
