Pire hôtel jamais visité ! D’abord notre réservation indiquait Check in à 13:00, et nous avons récupéré la chambre à 16:00. Ensuite la chambre était sale, tout était sale, le sol, le lavabo de la sdb, la baignoire toute rouillée… et parlons du petit déjeuner, on nous amenait quelques malheureuse assiette de jambon, fruits et fromages. Vu qu’il y avait à peu près 60 personnes à se servir 5 mn après le début du petit déjeuner il n’y avait plus rien. Il fallait ensuite attendre qq mn pour qu’une nouvelle fournée de quelques assiettes qui disparaissaient en quelques instants . Les gens faisaient la queue alors qu’il n’y avait plus rien à manger, attendant un peu de nourriture. Jamais vu ça !

Então, tive alguns problemas nesta reserva, mas que foram solucionados (estava tendo problema com outros hóspedes também). O hotel é bem desorganizado e pareciam perdidos na recepção quando eu cheguei. Primeiro o check in atrasou 2h, passando de 15 para 17h. Quando fui as 17h à recepção, disseram que ainda demoraria pelo menos mais meia hora para o quarto ficar pronto, mesmo eu tendo chegado no hotel às 15h. Então, de forma educada e gentil pedi que agilizassem ao máximo a entrega do quarto pra eu conseguir aproveitar meu dia. E foram rudes comigo na resposta. Quando eu retornei, me informaram que iriam me fornecer o café da manhã como cortesia (sendo que já estava incluso na minha reserva) e me entregaram o quarto às 17:50. Enfim, eu não voltaria, deu vontade inclusive de trocar de hotel... Eles não parecem preparados de forma alguma para lotação e o café da manhã é bem fraco.

Tupa Hotel is primitive compared to a budget hotel in the US. No AC in any of the rooms & humidity is about 75-80% every day with temperatures only fluctuating a couple degrees per day & night. March 2026 78 during day, 75-76 at night. Only the receptionist speaks English. Breakfast is deli meats, cheeses, bread, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit. The staff is incredibly friendly & do their best to accommodate your stay. Chickens, horses, dogs roam loose. Groups of guests can be extremely rude, self-righteous, and pretentious. This is a good choice to sleep & shower but luxury it is not. If you’re here to experience the island, stay at Tupa. If you’re here for a world class experience, pay a lot more to stay somewhere else.

Comfortable bed. Good air conditioning (others we talked to said they had no AC or fan so they had a very different experience!). Good location. Basic room, clean. Nice breakfast (not a lot of variety but good). Shuttle to/from airport was helpful. Wifi was limited area but great where it was accessible. Staff was helpful with questions I had and some help that was needed.

One of, if not THE WORST, hotels I've ever stayed in! We booked it based on previous 8-10-star reviews, but now I'm about to think that those reviews were either fake or made up. I really do not understand how someone can rate it 10 or even 8 stars. There is nothing good about it at all. It's hard to find any part of this hotel not chipped, scratched, broken, etc... The bath towel and bed sheets are smelly. The bed is uncomfortable. There is no WiFi in the room, only around the reception area. The breakfast is poor. And be ready to be woken up in the middle of your sleep by rustlers, they are right next to your patio door, in a couple of feet. I'm giving 1 star only because there is no option to rate it 0, or even negative 1. This "hotel" desperately needs to be fully renovated.
