We can literally hear people talking. People next door was very loud, they played music and yelling loud at 1:00 am. We couldn’t fall asleep. AC is right next to my bed and it blows out wind right to your face all night.

Hotel has good rating on hotels.com but after booking, reviews on sites such as expedia, were not that great. Location is great, amenities are dated and so are the rooms. The walls are thin, the carpet is old and the elevators are shabby due to the hotel needing to be updated. The staff at the desk are not friendly, but the staff everywhere else are very friendly and accommodating. I suggest bringing your own beach chairs and umbrellas as the hotel charges $30/day for them. The other rental company charges more than that. This is a good place for a quick getaway, but if you're looking for resort style and upscale, this ain it.

I do not typically write reviews, but after this experience, I must voice our experience. Having made reservations online and unfamiliar with the location, we arrived to check in with my party arrived at 4:30. I was told they were understaffed and they had early check ins, our 2 rooms were not ready and were told they’d call asap, as rooms became available. Having paid for the hotel parking, we decided to get dinner and return. After 2 hours, I called, front desk told me none were available and they’d call back. An hour later and still no call, my husband went to the front desk, where he was told that we were late checking in, and was laughed at. After a very firm conversation, miraculously, 2 rooms were available. Everything else relating to the room and property were similar to the check in process. Needless to say, we will never stay there, even in a pinch.

Charged us for parking and credit card fees and the charges Hotel.com said we owed were not what we were charged! They advised since we booked third party!, we owed additional fees. Told us we should have booked direct! The grounds were littered with trash. The area was old and unkept. Online pictures definitely deceiving! When I tried to question additional charges. I was basically dismissed as clerk went on to help next customer. Our question is since we booked thru Hotel.com why was this booking price not honored!

The property was fairly clean, black hairs in the tub and on toilet, nothing patching where deadbolt was removed from the balcony door, black strips of either mold or dirt and dust from AC unit on the back of the curtains, so when you opened them it would get stirred up, counter top missing the end piece, carpet looked like it was replaced but the carpet piece around the walls didn’t match and had bleach splatter. Around kick plate of counter wood was very worn. The elevators were sketchy, but one looked like maybe it was being remodeled since it was half wallpaper and half plywood. The pool was clean, hot tub worked and was clean. The staff was super friendly. We were brought fresh towels without asking. The bedding was very clean and fresh. The room had fresh paint too so maybe the property is working on improvements. For the price it was overall ok.

First room smelled of smoke but room we ended up in had door issues. The door had problems closing properly. But room was clean and the pool was refreshing. Overall an affordable and quiet place to vacation.
