Our family room was perfect for us - my daughter loved the bunk beds and having the outdoor area was lovely and so handy for our dog. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were very friendly and we could even charge our electric car. The location was perfect too. There was nothing I would change about our stay!

Hotel looks a bit well worn when you walk up, but inside it is nicely furnished. Our 3-bed room (25) was newly refurbished, very comfortable, quiet (but no view). Breakfast fine. Parking on site is a bit tight but it works fine. Hotel is in a great location, hotel staff excellent, very friendly. Maybe need some new carpets sometime but in the big picture, a really good stay in Lyme Regis.

Iconic seaside inn steeped in history and in a listed building minutes walk from the sea. Yea it’s a bit old, but it’s go character . Staff were excellent . third visit and will be back

We were happy with our room apart from it said it was a king, and it was only a double bed. I never find them very comfortable to share. The history of the pub, breakfast room, location and parking were all appreciated. We would recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Lion, our room was spacious with all amenities and a lovely view of Broad st. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing too with a great menu! Well done everyone!

We love Lyme Regis and The Royal Lion Hotel. It is historic and charming.The rooms are large and comfortable.It has a new indoor pool. The food is great. It is in the high street so very close to shops, restaurants, bars,and cafes, and of course the sea and the quaint Cobb.

Initial lady who checked me in was not fantastic definitely couldn't read the room. Culture I did not want to discuss my stay any further with her. Everything was a bit old and could use a lick of paint and a little bit of upkeep. There were builders in at the time so there was also noise plastic sheets on the floor parking isn't great anyway but was taken up by half the builders

Our stay was lovely. We were given the wrong room, as we had booked a triple but got a double instead, but the room was so nice it wasn’t an issue. The hallways to the rooms were quite run down and could do with some love, however the room itself was gorgeous, with a sea view, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. There is limited parking available too
