The cleanest pool ever with shade, surrounded by quiet nature. Natural building materials. Happy staff. Closest to Playa del Amor. Easy to walk to fresh seafood restaurants.

This is as lovely quiet hotel (ignore other reviews that mention noise from clubs and bars nearby - they clearly have reviewed the wrong hotel!). The location is slightly out of the main area of Zipolete - but only 1 minute from the beach. The pool area is amazing and the pool lovely. Whilst there is no breakfast of food available they do provide a constant supply of coffee and facilities to make tea. There is a local shop at the entrance and loads of restaurants nearly. Our only comments would be that the room balconies need to be improved - there is no protection apart from a single rail which felt slightly unsafe, no chairs are provided (why not - we just could not understand this - some residents took the pool chairs to use) and the views from the upper rooms are blocked by the overhanging roofs). Oh snd a small fridge in each room would have been nice.

We had an amazing stay at Cocos Hotel. The room is simple but comfortable and quite beautiful. Hotel amenities are simple, nice pool, there is coffee in the morning, restaurants for breakfast at a shorty walking distance. Great if you want to connect with nature. It is very quiet at night (beside the sounds of wildlife and the waves of the ocean and the occasional hotel neighbor). You will stay at an easy walking distance from the beach and from the playa del amor. The walking distance to the center of town is a little long, but ok if you’re used to walking. Staff was very friendly and hotel was very clean.

Staff were wonderful, kept the whole place spotless. We were on the second floor which had the palm leaves which was lovely but this floor did not have air conditioning. The a/c was on the main floor only. Staff gave us a floor fan to use along with the ceiling fan. There was no ocean view but the ocean was 200 feet away and could hear the waves all the time from the hotel. No restaurant onsite but 2 within a block and both were excellent. One opens onto the beach. The pool was wonderful and cool as the days in Zipolite are very hot.

5 nights stay in this beautiful space, the room was simple and lovely, very clean - “tropical minimalism” Comfy beds, nice sheets Friendly staff I would stay there again Super close to the beach and very peaceful and green. The only thing that was missing to me was a safe for my passport. Amazing stay overall
