Hotel very convenient for my needs and the room in the courtyard was. Quiet and clean - however nowhere to hang clothes which was surprising. Even a couple of hooks would have been welcome. Bed extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the freshly cooked to order breakfast very good. There was no food on a Monday so ate at the pub just over the road as recommended and it was delicious.

My room was in the older part of the main pub, and whilst some of the building was ageing, the room was well looked after and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to all requests. This is a traditional homely hotel and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Lovely area friendly staff, only problem was the bed has wooden sides and a low mattress which means you hurt the back of your legs trying to get out of bed the mattress needs higher.
