Got to my room after a long day after the parks and realized that there was no power in the bedroom. The TV didn't work, the lights didn't work, the ceiling fan didn't work. Absolutely no power in the bedroom at all. I called the front desk over dozen times and nobody responded, and the voice mailbox was full so I couldn't even leave a message. Around 3AM I just completely gave up, slept for a few hours and left. When I checked out the next morning they asked me how my stay was, and I explained to them what happened. They basically said "oh, sorry to hear that. would you like your receipt printed or sent to your email?"
I didn't make a big deal about it, but you can't really treat your guests that way and expect repeat business or a positive review. It leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I had a pretty significant problem that I spent hours trying to fix and nobody seemed to really care or bother to answer the phone when I needed help. it's a nice property, don't get me wrong, but good luck to you if you need assistance. nobody is coming to help you.
I really feel like some sort of compensation is necessary here. The stress and aggravation involved really impacted my ability to enjoy this visit. If you want to reach out and fix this for me, feel free to do so. Otherwise, there's just no way I'll ever stay here again.
