We didnt even check in. Pulling up to the building it looked run down. Upon walking in the owners were lounging in the lobby. It was dark and the front desk staff was not inviting. It looked nothing like the photos online. Other reveiws said rooms were gross and dirty, broken furniture etc. Horrible at answering their phone. Dont waste your time or money here.

I travel for work and have stayed at a few places in Ames before staying here. Let’s just say this is the only place that has felt clean, not just looked clean. I normally don’t stay at hotels that have carpet but this place had carpeting that looked like it had just been shampooed. Excellent upkeep in function and appearance from maintenance/mgmt. Guy at the front desk is always welcoming and after driving for over 4hrs that’s really appreciated.
