This was our 25th anniversary and we were looking for luxury. The online pictures are very deceiving. The lobby was nice and the courtyard was pretty. However, the rest was beyond sub-par. The furniture was old and banged up, the carpet was stained, snagged, and coming up in the corners. There were drips of paint on the carpet and the vinyl flooring. The balcony door was rotted on the bottom. The baseboards were dirty and chipped. They patched holes in the walls without even the slightest attempt to match the texture of the wall. And the towels....dingy grey and well worn, to say the least. The tub grouting was dirty. The refrigerator was back in a corner so close to a wall that you barely had room to open it. I have a bruise on my arm from banging my shoulder on the freezer door handle every time that I tried to reach into the refrigerator. The only saving grace for this place was Ty at the front desk. He was so helpful and always smiling. Just a really nice guy. I always try to stay at a Choice hotel. I would have been better off at a Comfort Inn. It was a wasted $800+ for a two night stay.

The manager was wonderful and welcoming, as was the night staff. We arrived very late, having gotten lost, they were not only sweet and accommodating about the hour, they had upgraded our room even before we arrived! The location was fabulous - in the French Quarter literally next door to the city market -

The room was clean and spacious. There was a full kitchen space and the balcony overlooked the market. We loved the location. We had to leave the hotel to find coffee as the ones provided were bad. No parking on site which we didn’t realize until we checked in, but we loved beeping able to walk to everything on Market Street.

This hotel was perfectly situated. Everything we wanted to do was within a 1 mile walk. There were amazing food options just around the corner. I loved the townhouse layout and full kitchen! We were able to keep snacks and beverages on hand so we didn't always have to go out and buy something. Also having a separate living space with a second bathroom on another floor was really nice for times when we were not wanting to wake up at the same hour. The little courtyard sitting area is lovely too.

As a family of four, we loved having extra space and a kitchen with some real dishes. The location was amazing and the king bed was very comfortable. Our room had new windows and we heard zero street noise (it was quiet anyway bc it was off season but was still surprised) There is no daily housekeeping or amenities but the coffee in the lounge every morning was good. There is no parking, you park at a public city garage nearby. There was no valet parking when we were there because of low staff. No one at the hotel mentioned the daily “resort” fee (this is not anywhere close to a resort). We would definitely stay again for the unique two level floor plan and the location.
