Beautiful location right across the street from a beautiful beach and tide pools. It almost felt as if we were camping, there was plenty of outdoor seating and amenities like volleyball net and firepit. Room was recently renovated but the bathroom was still a little outdated but do-able. The water was either too hot or too cold but other than that one of my favorite stays!

Beautiful, rustic campus just a few minutes walk from state beach. Gorgeous natural setting. Simple king bed room showed it's age, but it has high ceilings and picture windows, and was roomy and comfortable. There are two free EV chargers on site, but with the prevalence of electric vehicles in CA, they were in constant use during our stay.

Everything was amazing, the stay, the cleanliness etc. Dinner was expensive, almost $50 for adult and close to $30 for child. I was hesitant but gave it a try because the front desk person told me there were a few options like a roasted chicken or steak etc. When we got there it was only the steak. I wish they were more specific about what type of steak. Grateful we got to eat something but not worth $70 meal for an adult and child. Also the only drink option was water. There was coffee, hot coco, and tea. But looking back at the interaction I had with the front desk person, she didn’t sound sure. I’m glad I tried the food there but in the future I will choose to go somewhere else for dinner.

Very, very basic room. Not even a tv! Really old and falling apart. Wallpaper peeling, not nice to look at. Most uncomfortable bed. Hard and squeaky, scratchy sheets, lumpy pillows. Walls are paper thin. We could hear everything from next door. Upside is the proximity to Asilomar beach.
