The floors were filthy. The bottom of our socks were completely black after just 30 minutes. There were no lightbulbs in any of the light fixtures, other than the bathroom when we arrived. Could not even make a waffle because the batter was too watery. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was super thin and tasted like salt water. You literally had to slam the door to get it to shut. When we arrived, the door to the balcony was not even closed. The light fixture on the wall was hanging from the wall.

It’s a decent hotel but quite run down. Needs some touch ups and fixing some things. The rooms are quaint with balconies and fireplaces. The creek is pretty. The breakfast was great. I was comfortable enough but would like to see some improvements because it’s a good location

We reserved our room and paid for premium with the Jacuzzi almost a month in advance and opened the door to two full beds and no Jacuzzi. We were told they didn't have anymore available so we would have to contact the prop owner which we are doing. The room was also not cleaned very well, there was a lollipop in the fridge, dirt all over the floor and stuff in the drawer. We couldn't walk without shoes in our room because our feet would be black within minutes. The breakfast was good, we did really enjoy having a breakfast buffet included and the staff was nice. The property itself wasn't bad, it was pretty clean or appeared to be.

Very Disappointed right at the beginning. When booking the room, you pick choose a room. So you scroll look at the room, you see a spa tub. You read where it says spa/soaking tub 1 room left. So we grabbed it. I even tried chatting with someone to see if that was the correct room. It sends me a pic of room. You see a spa tub in the pic. So when we check in find out. We did NOT get a spa room. :( So I say everything happens for a reason. Welp still wondering. The room was dirty, dead bug above the door. Old dirty cobwebs. The lamp shades had brown on them. The bed dust ruffle still had the last ppl who stayed snack crumbs. We brought back leftovers that night and open the fridge and FROZEN solid. So there went that. Then the 2nd night the toilet wouldn't flush and needed a plunger. Called front desk 8xs no answer. Also messaged them. My husband drove down to the office where he found a sign that said "Be back shorty sorry for the inconvenience". So he drove 20 minutes to find a plunger and 20 something mins back. In that 40 mins i had not received any messages from the front. By time my hsuband got back he was there and got a plunger. Yet still never received a message. This stay was just Disappointing. It was a weekend gettaway for my Bday.. So i cant really recommend them to anyone.

Without an elevator working to go up to the rooms on the top of the hill it makes it difficult and no one wants to climb that steep Hill after walking up and down the parkway maybe if the elevator was working it might have been a more enjoyable stay on the top of the hill we got moved to below on the ground level which was much better but still elevator doesn't work to get to the second floor and all rooms start one floor up to begin with so technically three flights of stairs to a second floor room

When I was in high school in the 70s, I stayed here. It was "nice" then. I don't think it has been updated since, except for the bathroom sink. Very sad condition overall. The photos are not giving showing the whole picture. Very cheesey.

We were send to another location up the hill. The hotel had really bad smell in the hallways like old garbage. We were offered “upgrade” with the view of downtown but we could not see anything from our balcony so the “upgrade” was a joke. I would choose another option in the future. We travelled with our dog so needed dog friendly hotel at short notice. The night was prepaid but I spent forver at the truth desk since the clerk did not know how to use the credit card machine to charge me the dog fees and she was texting her manager for instructions.
