We have stopped here many times and it remains excellent value for money. Sure, its an old hotel, that gives charactervand charm, the staff are really good, friendly snd hrlpful. The rooms are clean, presentable and good value. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want. Location is excellent, on the sea front, central and has its own parking, charged atba very reasonable rate. Highly recommended, value for money hotel. If you want a mid range accommodation, its ideal

Great location! Right by the beach & a few restaurants around the corner. My only complaint really is the lack of amenities - little things like no fridge or microwave in the room, no ice machine in the hotel, no fan/ac - it was very warm in the room and I had to open the window, but the windows do not have screens so a few bugs flew into the room. And the water pressure in the shower was very poor - the bathroom sink had better water pressure than the shower. I was only there 2 nights so it was fine overall, but for longer stays I’d probably look for something with better amenities.

You can see how wonderful this old building would have been in the day. It has a kind of charm but feels like it could literally crumble at any moment it's clean and the staff are lovely. An aging property that is showing it..... No housekeeping during my 3 night stay. Internet in lounge a bit erratic. Buffet breakfast was good and evening meal excellently presented and enjoyable......customer service was Louis deserves special mention - first rate....!! Overall an enjoyable stay.
