Great location - close to the station, but on a very small/quiet backstreet, so it was the best of both worlds. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere outside and inside. TERRIFIC breakfast (which made it a 5* stay instead of 4*). You get a choice of 3 different breakfasts (American, Japanese and one more). All 3 are delicious, but the American was especially good. Room small but clean. The only downside was the mattress - very thin, hard and uncomfortable. Luckily we were very tired each day so we slept acceptably, but it was the worst mattress of our several hotels that we stayed in Japan. Nevertheless, overall we did enjoy our stay (but if you are picky about comfy mattresses, maybe think about going elsewhere?).
