The property in general needs TLC, but the charm makes up for it. Never felt dirty or buggy, but many things need attention. Garden could use a clean up; room had some fixing to be done (sink, window, A/C) but the bed was so comfy and we slept so well. I can only speak for room number nine. There is nowhere in the shower to place a bar of soap while you’re showering. The air conditioning is either on full blast or off. There are lights that do not work. Parking is three blocks away. All at all, it is an old hotel, but not particularly special. It has a great cocktail bar out front facing the water. But, I would not stay again.
