I think the Hotel Victoria is a grand older hotel that needs a facelift such as new carpeting. The staff are fantastic and the property has a beautiful pool and view. Their food could definitely be improved. Their room service food was better than the restaurant.

The grounds and pool area were well maintained, the room was spotless, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. Clean areas all around. Polite staff and clean rooms. Parking was near the room, pool was cold for my own taste but that would depend on the time of the year you go, I went in January so it was to be expected. Traveling near the zocalo was very easy. There is no shops near by since the hotel is on a hillside so get your stuff before you get there. Overall I love the hotel and I would stay there again.

If I had qualified based on the treatment during check-in only, my first impression was very bad because they told me if I had booked directly instead of using the platform, we would have been able to give rate options. Later, during the stay the experience was excellent treatment in the restaurant, high quality fpod, spacious room and quiet atmosphere, it made us feel comfortable. The hotel has a convenient location, walk distance to Oaxsca center, and private bus transportation.
