Beim Check in über eine halbe Stunde gewartet. Endlich im Zimmer angekommen das große Erstaunen: außer einem Bett und einem Fernseher war das Zimmer komplett leer geräumt. Keine Sitzgelegenheit, kein Kleiderbügel, die meisten Lampen funktionieren nicht, der Kühlschrank war auch nicht gekühlt. Reklamation keine Chance da die Warteschlange an der Rezeption noch länger geworden ist. Am nächsten Morgen von einer freundlichen Mitarbeiterin ein paar Kleiderbügel bekommen und ein Stuhl wurde ins Zimmer gebracht. Am zweiten Tag herrschten heftige Bauarbeiten auf den Fluren. Nach einem ausgiebigen Besuch der Stuttgarter Innenstadt Ankunft am Abend im Hotel. Beim Versuch in das zugewiesene Zimmer zu gelangen war auf der Etage des Zimmers der Lift zugeklebt, eine Tafel warnte: unbefugten ist der Zutritt zur Baustelle verboten! Aber wenn das Zimmer auf dieser Etage ist? Durch die Absperrung gekrochen um ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Im Zimmer gab es kein Wasser mehr! Das Wasser war einfach abgestellt. Runter an die Rezeption. Der Gipfel zu allem vorgefallenen war dann die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, Frau Lämmle, derartige Arroganz wie sie an den Tag gelegt hat ist mir noch nie untergekommen. Sie hat sich benommen als wäre das völlig normal in einem Zimmer auf einer Baustelle ohne Wasser wohnen zu müssen. Zeigte keinerlei Verständnis für das aufgebrachtsein. Nach endloser Diskussion dann am Abend in ein anderes Zimmer umgezogen. Dieses Zimmer war eiskalt, die Heizung funktionierte nicht.

Wir reisten erst gegen 19 Uhr an. Das Zimmer 851 wirkte wie gerade in der Renovierung. Im Zimmer selbst gab es keinerlei Kleiderbügel. Die Sitzgarnitur fehlte ebenso. Minibar weiß ich nicht ob dies die normale Befüllung ist. Auch die Art der Heizung mit einem kleinen Heizgerät kann nicht so gewollt sein. Das zentrale Zimmerlicht ließ sich gar nicht ausschalten. Trotz 7 Schalter.... Kein einziger schaltete das Licht aus. Einzigste Lösung war die Zimmerkarte zu entfernen. Auch die Farbstimmungsschalter hatten keine Funktion. Im Bad ging keine Lüftung. Die Fernbedienung sah sehr ekelig aus. Eine Reinigung an der Rezeption brachte nicht viel. Wenn man aus dem Fahrstuhl kam, wäre ein Licht schön gewesen, so dass man nicht mit Handy Taschenlampe seine Tür suchen muss.... An der Rezeption konnte man uns logischerweise abends nicht weiterhelfen. Da wir um 4 Uhr früh das Hotel verlassen haben, konnten wir das Angebot zum kostenfreien Frühstück nicht akzeptieren. Auf die erbeten schriftliche Meldung der Beschwerde warte ich noch immer auf Antwort.

Es ist höchst bedauerlich zu sehen, wie das Dormero Hotel Stuttgart - wie übrigens auch das komplette SI-Centrum - immer weiter an Qualität/Niveau verliert. Über die Jahre konnte man die Veränderung an Sauberkeit, Service, Funktionalitäten, Qualität von Spesen/Getränken, Ausstattung der Zimmer genau beobachten. Hier kurz die Erfahrungen des letzten Aufenthalts: - Anzahl der Restaurants wie auch die Öffnungszeiten lt. Dormero-Webseite (Pizza&Pasta, Sonderbar, The Dubliner, Wiener Kaffeehaus) entsprachen nicht der Realität. - Sonderbar & Kafeehaus waren während der 7 Tage Aufenthalt nie geöffnet. - Dubliner hatte an einigen Tagen geöffnet, wenngleich auch nicht zu den angegebenen Zeiten und nur mit minimalem Servicerpersonal, was zu massiven Beschwerden und erheblicher Unzufriedenheit unter den Gästen führte. Viele brachen den Besuch nach mehr als 30min Wartezeit ab. Evtl. hat dies einen schönen Musical-Abend in ein enttäuschendes Gesamterlebnis gewandelt. Sehr schade. - Pizza&Pasta war zwar geöffnet, allerdings waren 50% des Namens inkorrekt, denn es gab keine Pizzen. - Hotelzimmer mittlerweile etwas veraltet, Bad, Schränke, Klimaanlage, Licht, Entertainment-System benötigen dringend eine Reparatur/Auffrischung. Defekte wurde trotz mehrfacher Hinweise nicht behoben. Positiv: 1. Befüllung Minibar ist noch kostenfrei enthalten. - Service/Sauberkeit leider gefühlt sehr negativ, möglicherweise bedingt durch die hochkritische Personallage/Mitarbeiterunzufriedenheit.

Wir waren schon einige Male in Domero und waren immer zufrieden. Jetzt gibt es nur noch Roomservice auf Wunsch. Sollte man vorher wissen. Nur noch Handseife und Duschgel und 2 Zahnputzbecher im Badezimmer vorgefunden. Ich wollte mir ein Bügeleisen ausleihen. Es gab nur 1 Bügeleisen im Hotel und das wurde verschmutz zurück gegeben und konnte somit nicht benutzt werden. Wir erwarten definitiv etwas anderes von einem 4* Hotel.

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt – leider nicht wie erwartet Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Das Zimmer war bei Ankunft nicht sauber, was bereits einen schlechten ersten Eindruck hinterließ. Der Fernseher funktionierte überhaupt nicht, was den Komfort erheblich einschränkte. Im Badezimmer war lediglich eine von mehreren Lampen funktionsfähig, was zu einer unangenehmen Atmosphäre führte. Das als „Junior Suite“ beworbene Zimmer entsprach in keiner Weise den Erwartungen – weder in Größe noch in Ausstattung. Besonders enttäuschend war das stark abgenutzte Ledersofa, das seine besten Zeiten definitiv hinter sich hat. Das Frühstück war leider der Tiefpunkt des Aufenthalts: lieblos präsentiert, wenig Auswahl und qualitativ enttäuschend – ein echter Albtraum. Insgesamt war dieser Aufenthalt eine große Enttäuschung. Für den aufgerufenen Preis hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Ich kann dieses Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
