This is a return trip to this great pub in central Falmouth. The welcome is exceptional and problems get fixed with a smile straight away. Breakfast is great and the atmosphere so relaxed. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. It’s at the top of a very steep hill so be aware if you don’t like walking but so easy to get down to everything in the town, 5-10 mins walk max. I’ve already booked to return because although I’ve tried different air bnbs in the town and this place remains my favourite. Thanks for another great stay.

Lovely old Falmouth hotel

Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again.

Gorgeous room with stone wall feature, double aspect and views across Falmouth Bay. Perfect location for exploring the town. We foind free on road parking very close and didnt need the car for 3 days!

Prior knowledge that there would be a karaoke night until midnight directly below the room, a stag do and it would be noisy directly outside until almost 1 am, we would not have chosen to stay there. Breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly.

Booked a twin room , this was at the front of the building . The room was very pleasant, clean and smartly decorated and comfortably furnished. The beds , linen and pillows all excellent. Unfortunately it was a very hot day and night and to attempt to cool the room we had to open the sash window fully which allowed in the smoke and conversation from the pavement tables below . The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast very good. The 110 granite steps of Jacob’s Ladder were challenging after supper in town, the kitchen being closed on Wednesday. We were made aware of this and the risk of noise from the pub before we stayed.
