10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was a 10 minute walk from train station. Also a 10 minute walk from meeting point to go to Giants Causeway for the day. Went to titanic museum and had a wonderful dinner just around corner of hotel. Only regret was not staying another night to explore more of Belfast."
"Fantastic location right in the centre of Derry. Our family room was huge and plenty of space for the 3 of us. Although there was renovation happening we honestly didn't notice anything. The leisure facilities were excellent. Others have noted the parking charges, so thanks to that we parked on the road just outside Ebrington Square for free and just walked across the Peace Bridge."
"Staff were really friendly and helpful even when they brought me a meal I didn’t order.
There were signs saying they had a major refurbish. Not in the room I was given they hadn’t. Room 708 carpet was filthy the surfaces were peeling off the furniture. The shower door is broken. I had two tv’s but no remote control. There is a kitchen area but I couldn’t use anything and wash it up cos there were no tea towels.
I admit I didn’t complain but that’s cos I was there for one night. If it had been more I would have said something. Definitely NOT worth the money they charge for the room."
"The hotel was very close to the city centre. Hotel was clean and tidy and served our needs. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very efficient and helpful."
"Lovely stay overall at a beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was very clean and spacious with great amenities, and a turn-down service. The bar was a real highlight with live music, delicious cosmopolitans, great service and a lovely atmosphere.
Unfortunately, roadworks outside hit a pipe during our stay, which affected the water supply. This meant we couldn’t shower on the last day, and by the following morning the water had run out completely so the toilet would not flush either. I appreciate this was outside of the hotel’s control, but it did impact what was otherwise a relaxing stay.
Bottled water was available, although we had to request extra rather than it being offered proactively. We did receive 15% off the bill as a goodwill gesture, which was appreciated, though only after I raised it.
Not the hotel’s fault, but it did spoil an otherwise lovely stay, hence the reduction from five stars to four."
"The room was very small for the money I paid. The breakfast was amazing The coffee delicious. Restaurant prices expensive like a steak is £42 . Enjoyed my stay still a lovely quiet hotel just beside Victoria Square."
