The hotel is nicely situated on the waterfront which is quite convenient to go out at night. The staff are really kind and welcoming and they allowed us to leave our luggage with them earlier than check-in. The room was spacious and clean. The only downside was that the room was not really soundproof and therefore we could hear our neighbors at night.

Proximity to waterfront and they were able to hold our luggage in between our african safari trips. Very responsive with questions online. My family would stay here again. The free breakfast was a plus! Changed our initial preconceptions about traveling to Africa. Cape Town is beautiful and we will be back!

The hotel is about 1/2 mile to the edge of V&A waterfront so it’s very walkable. Parking is in a public garage about a block+ away and not included, cost is just 65 Zar a day but no in-n-out. Our room had a balcony facing the back so not much to look at. Bed was quite comfortable. The shower and toilet are in the same area as the bed with frosted glass, pretty but no privacy when doing business! None of our universal adapters work though they had 2 usb ports but no usb c. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Limited drawer space and no closet.
