The hostel was consistently cleaned which was great. I found the beds comfortable and I liked the little curtain for a bit of privacy in the shared room. They were able to accommodate a request for a bottom bunk which was also nice. The only thing I found a bit challenging was the dim lighting everywhere. It made it a bit hard to see at times but overall, I'd stay here again. The location was great - walking distance to almost everything I did.

The hostel is super clean, with great vibes and comfy accommodations. There are a lot of bathrooms, and there is a kitchen in every floor, and it was usually clean too. They offer breakfast for 2700 ISK, but I didn’t get it any day because of tour times. They are close to bus stop 9, in which you can hop on any tour. My first day I got an aurora alert in my app, and just crossed the streets from KEX and could see them above the water, it was beautiful. The only down, for me, is that we didn’t have complementary towels, and wasn’t prepared for this. I would highly recommend them, and hope to stay there again one day.
