Poor hotel ,breakfast was rubbish, hotel was cold , had 2 single beds as a double ,cracked sink, shower was 2 cold to use , bad smell of sueage , windows need updating, had to ask for tea and coffee, milk , kettle was a travel kettle , very small rooms , hotel was like a maze, and not sign posted very well for stairs, only 1 lift, could only fit 2 people at a time in lift, 1 star rating They are even advertising weddings, there was homeless in hotel as well, smelled of weed as well

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, especially Ian in the restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful, and they catered well for a vegetarian wgen dietry requirements were shared. The evening 3 course meal was above and beyond expectations - a home-cooked, balanced fresh meal. The room was basic and lacked plug sockets but was otherwise comfortable.

Overall, good value for money and welcoming. The President was clean and warm and every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. The furniture was a little tired but adequate. Breakfasts and evening meals were really well cooked. It would have been nice if the coffee bar and lounge had been fully opened but having said that, if we wanted a coffee or alcoholic drink, a staff member was available to serve this.

We had a terrible stay, 3beds in the room,had to climb over each other to get to toilet in the night.we had no cleaner for the 4days we were there.furniture falling apart,no beds made no bin emptied,1 electrical socket in room,kettle had to be plugged in on floor for safety.a horrible view of an alley I think it was.continual banging throughout the night.was. No fraught beer on sale,only supposed to have a double bed,not 3,no chair to sit on,rubbish in drawers

Cheap stay with good breakfast. Tram stop just outside. Room and beds were OK and decent shower. Hotel and room were cold, so need to turn on and crank up the heating.

It was constantly noisy, people noisy in the corridors, banging doors. The corridors smelled of drugs. I had issues with people trying to gain access to my room, possible disorientated. The night porter said he was aware of a particular group may be involved and would 'have a word with them'. On the website it didn’t mention parking has to be paid for...in cash only! Wouldn't recommend or stay at this venue again. 😬

Waiting staff at dinner very attentive, breakfast okay.. hotels a little tired and dated but it’s okay - stayed one night - parking cost £10 - night on top. Could do with a little extra cleanliness attention around the place and the smell of smoke from the reception area off putting.

Room was very clean, spacious and warm, staff very friendly especially Callum, only stayed room only but asked about 4pm if I could book for dinner which they did and it was plentiful and really good, location was great right on sea front and the price was great stayed for 3 nights and slept well.

Check in was quite friendly and simple. The hotel is simple and fairly basic but it's clean and very good value. The single room was small but had everything I needed. Small point but if you are larger then room 413 will not work well for you as the shower room was tiny with the shower door not opening because of the sink and the toilet was squeezed in-between the shower and the wall. I'm not that big but my shoulders were crammed in against each side. It was very clean and neat though. I'd suggest a bath mat could be a good idea for the shower. Breakfast was very good and in a bright spacious room with Sea and Promenade views.

It was £30. For that it has a 3* rating. The room was very small, the bathroom was so small that you couldn't open the shower door passed half way without it hitting the sink, but that was fine, I'm slim! A larger person could absolutely not use it or the toilet. My neck touched the sink using the loo! The shower head did not move so the floor got soaked when you switched it on to warm up. That being that for £30 - fine! The room however was filthy and that is not satisfacroty. The doors were covered in dirt - I really wanted to purchase a pack of flash wipes!! The king size mattress was overhanging a double base. There was no hairdryer (it states there was), the TV had stains all over it. I opened a drawer it had crumbs in. There was no headboard but instead a wall covered in dirt behind the pillows. The bed itself was clean. There was a chair. There were tea making facilities. No glasses or anything similar. If the room was clean I wouldn't have been bothered for £30... but yeah no excuse for that unfortunately.
