This hotel is located in the busy Alfama district, so you're in the centre of everything. Loads of restaurants and historic sites. It's on the tram line, too, literally outside of our window. Diego is a rock star. We had trouble with our air conditioning and he worked doggedly to get it working and saved the day. This is not a fancy place, but you're not going to Alfama to sit in your hotel room all day---it's a good, quiet place to rest your head and feet after a delicious dinner.

Daniel was so helpful even before we arrived in Lisbon and very welcoming after a long delay at the airport. The rooms are very small and a little tired but spotless, a very comfortable bed and the best power shower ever! A little more storage would be welcome but other than that, a fab place to stay. For the price, we thought Santa Luzia was perfect for our long weekend in this fabulous city. Lots of lovely places within a short walk for the best breakfasts (they do them well in Lisbon!) and a great location within Alfama.

It was a really nice room, very easy check in and great communication. Location was perfect with only about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Lisbon. We had a fantastic stay! The airport shuttle was perfect and our host was amazing at helping us plan tours and with everything we needed. It was so convenient to the whole Alfama region. The bed was super comfortable. I could’ve used a dresser or a rack to put our suitcases on. We ended up using the little table to dump everything, including our toiletries on.
