This hotel overall was great: location is fantastic, the rooftop pool is amazing, staff are very friendly and helpful! The buffet breakfast was lovely too, a good selection of food & drinks. The food in the restaurant in the rooftop was also lovely - the shrimp tacos were a real highlight! Generally had a great stay.
Two things that I took into account when giving 4 stars instead or 5: a small bottle of water (not even 500ml) in the restaurant in the rooftop costs around £4 which feels extortionate. Secondly, we booked a “courtyard view” room, however we’re placed in a room on the ground floor behind the lifts which meant we had no view, a window we couldn’t open and a generally dark room that smelled damp. When we asked it we could change our room, we were told they’d get back to us, which they didn’t. When we followed up, they said they couldn’t move us. We felt like the room, although spacious, wasn’t great - and it’s a shame customer service wasn’t the best on this point when we raised it.
