We had a wonderful stay. Stated for four days and three nights, which was the perfect amount of time to explore and relax. The resort has a restaurant that serves delicious food, and you can always order food to your room. They also offer plenty of activities you can take part in. They have different promotions also, depending on the season. The deluxe room we had had a jacuzzi, which was really nice (only complaint is it did not stay hot enough). The staff were also excellent during the stay and very accommodating. The room was a good size that didn't feel like a standard hotel room; the bed was soft, and the shower was spacious. The toilet is separate from the shower. Did the sunset cruise, which was great, and make sure to ask whether it includes dinner. The Lao massage is also definitely a must. My only complaint is i wish I had been informed the sunset cruise did not come with dinner bc the pictures made it seem like it did.

Stunning place in beautiful location

What a stunning place to stop... Beautiful beach front room with private patio are. Room was very large and loved the bathroom overlooking a small private planted courtyard. the view across the lake from the pool is amazing and a great place to relax. food was very good and the spa massage was also very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. we had the inclusive package which was amazing value for what we paid

We stayed here for two nights and wish we’d had a third! We were so glad we picked to stay here - the setting is beautiful and it was great to get a better feel of the countryside of Laos rather than just the cities. Perfect place to chill. If your main reason for going to the area is to do activities in vang vieng I would stay in the city itself as it is quite a long taxi drive (about 40 mins) but if you want a relax and occasional activity in Vang Vieng then this is perfect. Staff were all lovely, in particular the operations manager was so helpful and sorted any issues we had straight away. Good massage and food was good and reasonably priced for a hotel. We rented a kayak (not expensive) on the lake which was also really nice to do. Maybe wear a flip flop for arrival if it’s just been rainy season!

Les seules critiques pouvant être émises ont trait au vieillissement relatif de certaines installations du site, et entre autre d un jaccuzi un peu fatigué. Toutefois sachons raison garder, et il faut signaler plein de choses très positives. Les activités proposées, l organisation parfaite, la gentillesse et disponibilité de tous, une terrasse fantastique, et resto sympa. Aucun regret de ces 3 nuitées que nous conseillons vivement, juste assez loin de la déjantée, bruyante et alcoolisée Vang vieng. c était décidément le bon choix. Merci particulier à Mélissa pour l organisation préalable, et au manager Alexandre, disponible, ouvert, professionnel et sympa. Merci enfin à Théo pour sa ballade sur le lac avec un lieu de baignade juste magique. Découvrez enfin les environs, et cet étonnant sanctuaire pour animaux juste derrière le parking. Prenez un jet ski et éclatez vous sur ce lac plein de charmes. Vous avez rendu ce séjour magnifique.

Special spot. We changed our plans and left Vientiane a day early, got a rental pick up truck and drove to Nam Ngum lake. Best. Decision. Ever. The area is gorgeous and natural. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are individual bungalows with private porches. We were on honeymoon and the management went out of their way to help us celebrate by giving us a complementary drink and a room upgrade. The view from the rooms is extraordinary -especially at sunset. The restaurant was very good. Floating swimming pool was really awesome. Do yourself the favor and book for a few nights at the Sanctuary, we wished we could have stayed longer!

Hotel is quite far from vang vieng and requires a hotel shuttle for transport to the city. Breakfast was not good. The room is on the small side and there are bugs and insects. Staff had limited english

일단 방비엥에서 너무 멀다 나가려면 사십분은 걸리고~ 택시비가 많이 든다. 무료 셔틀이 있지만 정해진 시간에만 이용가능하고 또 시간이 너무 애매하다..... 어쨌거나 결국 택시를 부르게 될 수 밖에 없다... 그래도 호수가 잔잔하니 평화롭고 예쁘다. 제트스키 진짜 재밌고 추천한다~

꼭 한번 다시가보고 싶은 리조트입니다.

위치가 방비엥에서 약 30분 떨어져있다는 점을 제외하면, 아주 좋습니다. 이만한 숙소가 라오스에 있다는 사실이 믿기지 않을 정도입니다. 특히 호수에 떠있는 수영장이 정말 압권입니다. 화장실 깨끗하고 샤워실 좋습니다. 경치 최고입니다. 아침 조식부페도 다양하지는 않지만 먹을만합니다.

Likely the best place to stay in the area and would stay again. Only critique was smell in the bathroom/shower room. If the fans were off there was a residual smell from the sceptic tank. Not much they could do about it though and with the fans on it was manageable. The room was clean, staff was very pleasant and helpful and we plan to return.

The staff was very helpful and friendly all the time ! The hotel is around 20min from the city center by car but the hotel has free shuttle twice a day . The rooms are very clean and big. There are many activities to do : kayak, boats, swimming pool in the river, etc. The hotel also helps you to book the best tours and transport to everything . The food is also nice at the hotel (fried fish with traditional sauce is the best) and if you prefer “regular” food there are good hamburgers and nuggets. In general it was an excellent experience !

isolation more than sanctuary (potential not met)

I think there is a lot of potential in this resort, but it hasn’t met it. It seems like the bare bone of what it can be. Currently it’s less of a sanctuary and more of an isolation with not much to do. If you are looking for just a clean bed with a nice view, then this is the place for you. For others, it might be better to find something closer to town. drive to main town area is 30 minutes (which is manageable) but the hotel OVERCHARGES for the ride back and forth. Wifi is very weak throughout the resort other than the lobby. First room they put me in had no wifi signal at all. Positives: great view. Clean bed.

Bien sûr il est très loin de Vang Vien, mais la distance est largement compensée par ce havre de paix dans un cadre exceptionnel et par son personnel super sympa ! Un grand merci à Alex, Theo et Greg (qui nous concocte une cuisine géniale !)
