Esthetically the hotel is very pleasing and clean. I had a few concerns thiugh, the only elevator seemd like it was in need of maintenance, sounded like it would break away any minute. The wallpaper in the riom was coming apart at the seams. And the main concern for privacy was they used a barn sliding door for the bathroom. Not very private. Disappointed on how low the toilet was as well. Beds were comfortbale, we had enough hot water for a shower. The breakfast bar ladies were great, i had an eay race on Saturday and they let me grab a few things, it wasnt open for a other 30 mins. Fro t staff was friendly and overall a nice atmosphere. Just needs some maintenance and better updates.

Amazing stay. I’m from the area, but now live in another state and stayed while visiting family for the holiday. Accommodations were so clean, room was really large and nice, the hotel is quiet and felt very safe. Appomattox is a pretty safe town overall. Hotel staff was really friendly.
