The hotel is modern and clean, well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. The exception are lifeguards at the beach. The rules of the hotel: guests are allowed to use the swimming pools and beach (as it is owned by hotel) only from 6 am to 6 pm. When I tried to swim after 6 pm even it was not dark and no waves, the life guards yelled, whistled and used sirena. We did not drink, good swimmers and careful. Very unpleasant experience: first time in our many trips that we were not allowed to use beach and pools after 6 pm. The question is: what to do in their hotel after 6 pm considering that the hotel is located 40 min drive to city? Their entertainment in the evening was also poor. The food in the buffet was not great. Even the hotel is "all included", the restaurant was not included. guests need to pay extra. The hours of buffet operation were limited: no food after 8:30 pm. Conclusion: the price (more than 1600 CAD for 8 nights) did not match the quality of the service.

The staff were great nice and friendly. The room was ok but it should state if there are 2 adults and 2 children you need to pay for extra beds as the rooms don’t accomodate what is stated. The resort is nice but because the majority of visitors are Russian everything is Russian dominated even when talking to entertainment staff they talk to you in Russian. We stayed for New year which was lovely the food was amazing the entertainment was ok as again even the music was Russian. The pools were good but the hydro slides do need some maintenance. Hopefully this gets down when the new hotel is opened they can do maintenance on the older hotel. All is all a ok time but would be good if open to other nationalities apart from the Russians.

This area is creepily filled with swamps and abandoned hotels and waterparks. The hotel staff were ok, they were not very smiley or friendly but I think that may be because we did not see the clientele being polite, friendly or making any effort to say please and thank you. 99% of the guests are Russian and so a lot of the staff assumed we spoke russian. The staff used phones to communicate in English. The Spa was ok. Our room was lovely. The cleaners were excellent. The pools were nice. We didn't feel safe leaving the resort as the area around it was so dodgy. The worst thing was the food. It was vile. We were so disappointed as Vietnam has such incredible food. We actually really loved the Pho and the lady who made the Pho - she was our favourite, along with the popcorn man. Overall, this was a very disappointing holiday - it was probably a cultural thing from us, as this resort didn't cater to people who love Vietnamese food, good food, and was largely geared up for a russian market. We wanted to cancel on our first day, but it was non-refundable.

We had a fantastic stay. We had a pool villa and couldn’t have been more impressed with the size of the room. Extremely comfortable rooms and very clean. After a long day of travel, we were picked up from the airport and although we arrived well before check in time, our room was ready within an hour. We had the all inclusive package including all meals and drinks. Cuisine was more towards their regular travellers from Russia and Korea, which was a nice way to explore other cuisines. The private beach at the front is beautiful. Daily shuttle to Nha Trang could be booked 24hr in advance and a great way to explore the area. There are also many daily activities in the resort including archery and yoga. The waterpark is open twice daily from 9am-11am and 3pm-5pm, the only negative is the height requirement is 1.35m for all the big waterslides, but the little waterpark is fantastical for small kids. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

My stay at Cam Ranh Riviera Residence was a mixed bag. Our villa (No. 101) was stunning – the most beautiful I've ever seen, making the property itself truly 5-star. However, management was profoundly disappointing, feeling like a 2-star operation. Key issues: * Dreadful Dining: Restaurants were overcrowded and chaotic, with unsanitary conditions (kids touching food). We ate out often, despite being all-inclusive. * "All-Inclusive" Issues: Even basic coconut juice wasn't included, requiring extra payment. * Unreliable Shuttle: The free shuttle to Nha Trang was consistently unavailable; being told "too late" an hour before departure was absurd. * Beach Loungers: Insufficient loungers/umbrellas, compounded by guests "reserving" them for hours with belongings, unaddressed by poor management enforcement. Ultimately, while the resort boasts an exceptional property, its management standards severely undermine the 5-star experience.
