Parking was good, room was clean and air was comfortable even though the temps were unseasonably warm. My only complaint was that I requested a ground floor room due to a disability,but I was given a room with "just 5 little steps". After 5 hr drive, 5 little steps also included 4 other steps from the parking lot first. Difficult and painful but I had no choice and my reservation was very last minute so that was my own fault.

Only a half mile to the entrance of Sequoia Natl Park. Very reasonable rate ($62 total for late March). Large room. Good bed, new sheets. Bath towels quite worn. All the basic amenities: fridge, TV with streaming networks, AC, hair dryer, etc.

The restrooms were not very clean. Lifted seat to find an unpleasant sight, not clean! Also, stiff and dry shower cloth on the curtain rod. Ice bucket had dirt in it, no clean bag liner. The rest was decent, clean sheets, hot shower and AC worked.

No hot water. Below luke warm. Tv satellite would not catch signal. Bathroom circuit was tripped off so the GFI that ran the stationary hair dryer and coffee pot did not function. Toilet tank leaking so that it kept filling up making the annoying noise of it filling constantly. Fridge froze our salad and food making the salad bad . Greek salad from pizza factory that I really wanted. Garbadge service when I called for assistance.

This hotel is right outside of Sequoia National park! It is a small hotel with maybe 12 rooms. The rooms have been redone and are pretty nice. New “wood” flooring. The bed had a great mattress and some of the best bedding. Down side was no hot water after others checked in.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location near Sequoia National Park. Parking is right outside the door, which makes unloading luggage easy. Towels and bed sheets were very dirty. Shower door would not close. Power outlet for the hair dryer did not work. Dead spiders on the ceiling. The wifi was unusable, no signal at all.

We arrived around 10 pm. It turns out that after 9pm the office is closed and you have to check in in different hotel. There is no WiFi available and your phone doesn’t work either so you are on your own. We turned around and tried to find the other hotel. It takes around 10 minutes to go there and 10 minutes to go back to the hotel. Room was ok but there were stains everywhere- on the doors , blanket, floor. AC is extremely loud- sounds like train passing by. You have to turn off everything before you leave the room- if you don’t do it there is a 25 fee per day. The good thing is definitely the location- Hotel is very close to park entrance which makes the trip easier. You can sit outside- there are 2 chairs and a table which was nice.

As soon as I checked in, I paid and noticed I was charged under “Misc” $10.36. When I asked what that was, I was told it was a mistake and will be reversed! Up to now, I haven’t seen the credit yet! We stayed 2 days and no cleaning was done. Toiletries, towels, roll of papers were not refilled! Front desk starts from 3pm-9pm only! Office is closed before & after that time!
