Cabins have a great view, are very quiet and away from the road. The park is very tidy and organized, bathrooms are large, clean and modern. Very affordable, payment is cash only. For the Americans (us) who aren’t used to NZ camping, even though it’s a “deluxe double room“ there’s no water or sink or towels. Nor coffee or tea. Nice big supermarket in town (ask me how I know).

The kitchen was terrible—old, broken, and very dirty. The utensils were worn out and there weren't enough of them, and the overflowing bins were left open. We felt so disgusted that we decided not to cook at all. We had a room with a fridge, but the provided dishes weren't properly clean. The mattress is too thin. I would only come here again with my own camper. The pitches are clean and well-maintained, and the sanitary facilities are still quite new. However, the radio plays constantly in the bathrooms; if you have to use the toilet at night, the music wakes you up completely. Unfortunately, the staff is unfriendly.
