Online says soundproof rooms cant be if you can hear the night club from the 5th floor also there is a washing in the 5 floor as was going off early then 7am. Room needs a good clean dust on paintings in room and light fittings. Staff checking in were awesome, security trued telling me in a night time that was only my name in the room but I was the one the wrote the names but was quickly sorted. Didn't get much sleep come out the room next dat and next door had McDonald's all over the hallway didnt stay for breakfast just wanted leave so left first thing

Had a nice wee break here and although we arrived a bit early we got into our room right away nice touch that ! staff couldn’t have been nicer, our room was clean and comfortable with a really good walk in shower 👍 Have to mention breakfast it was excellent plenty to choose from both hot and cold ! As it has been mentioned before don’t miss out on it really tasty ! All in all perfect stay 👍👍

The staff are the stars here, being extremely friendly and helpful throughout, but the property itself is tired and needing work. Fine for a couple of days if you're out and about and needing a very central hub but beyond that I'd be looking for something a little less rough around the edges. The front desk is shared with the bar but service was quick and friendly at both, with a limited bar selection and light meals available. Breakfast is included, and was fairly good - basic selection of hot items and your standard suite of cereals, porridge, yoghurt, fruit and pastries in a self-service buffet. We didn't have to queue or wait around for anything on any day and staff were helpful and quick in clearing tables to make decent use of the small dining area. Room was usable and cleaned daily but needed repair - one of two towel hooks had partially detached from the wall and couldn't be used, the bathroom door lock was damaged and only usable by force, the threshold strip between the wooden entry area and carpet was missing screws and a trip hazard, and the sofa bed mattress was all springs and no padding. Given its location it's also fairly noisy throughout the day and at night from the surrounding bars, pubs and streets though that's likely an issue with any hotel in the area. All in all, cheap and cheerful for a night or two with a decent included breakfast, but in need of maintenance (and, I suspect, has been for some time). No regrets, but won't be back.

Room was clean, shower was amazing! and the toiletries. Reception could have been a bit more friendly. Breakfast was good, a good and wide selection of hot and cold items. Location was great. Good to have a safe and tea and coffee in the room. Loved that there was a guy checking people in when we came back late, felt secure because of that

Location excellent Hotel has absolutely no security anyone could break into your room There is one guy at night that sits near the entrance but during the day anyone can float around the hotel there is no security to the room floors Also the double bed on one side huge amount of space the other side of the bed is so close to the wall I twice her my foot of the skirting board & the bed isn’t comfortable I know a well known chain whose beds are amazing Also the racket when people come back late at night the doors just BANG shut so that would wake you up The breakfast is good

The staff were amazing. We arrived earlier than our check in time and as our room was ready, they allowed us to check in straight away. Being opposite the train station was handy, as it meant easy access to both the Metro Centre and the Airport.
