Very cute hotel located on walking distance to Zuma beach and Dume point. Beautiful view. Clean large room and large patio. Pet friendly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would go there again.

Hotels.com is representing a hotel that is falsifying the quality of their hotel. Their hotel had so much mold inside the room(s) that we couldn’t even stay there. We were forced to stay there one night which I ended up sleeping the night in my car because the amount of mold penetrated the air in the room. We tried to open the windows to get cross breeze so we could breathe fresh air, but some of the windows were missing screens. The toilet in the bathroom ran all night long so eventually, we had to shut the water off to the toilet. The light over the kitchenette turned off and on on its own through throughout the night. The room stated and showed pictures of a working fireplace put upon arrival it did not work. We were told that it might work the following week. The mold in the room was by far the worst part we couldn’t even breathe because it took your breath away the next morning when we went down to the office to let them know we were not able to stay another night because I have multiple sclerosis and a brain tumor and had just come from Cedar Sinai Hospital the following day. The man in the office told us we could not have a refund. So I asked to speak with the manager but he said he wasn’t there and he was out of town. Yet when hotels.com called after we had left the man we had spoken to was indeed the manager, and had lied to us. He still refused to refund us for the night hotels.com refused to refund us for that night as well even though I provided photos.

WiFi did not work and the TV cable wouldn’t work since it was connected to the WiFi. I had to use my own hotspot. There was a bad gnat infestation. I had to purchase a bug trap. I have pictures of the WiFi and TV not working and having no connection. I also have pictures of the bugs caught in the trap. My car was covered in gnats at night and in the morning. Staff offered for me to go get a bottle of wine from them for the WiFi and TV not working.

NOISY, room cold, NOISY wall air conditioner going. Room up a stairway by itself. Owner/manager not on site, you must phone to his home then he summons a young person who returns from his lunch to sign you in. ANYONE could walk in and take keys or whatever. Very insecure.

The room smelled bad..when i got ro hotel nobody was there the hoel was closed..i called a ph# on the door ..they told me the room is open the key os inside..in morning i left the hotel to my work no body was in hotel and main door was closed.lwft the key in the room with the door open..

This property is trashed! There was a line of 100+ ants from bahroom door, around two walls, and into the bathroom sink. The bathroom mirror was broken. The towel rack was completely rusted. NONE of the power outlets would hold a plug in place. The floor molding was broken off and jagged in two locations. The outdoor pool and pool house were completely trashed. The in-room jacuzzi tub is smaller than pictured and stained throughout. The staff didn't care about our complaints. This is a one-star hotel that is not worth $50/nights. I would like a refund.
