It was like staying at a children’s holiday camp. No idea where to go when you arrive. Short hours in the restaurant. Children running up and down the corridors - great if that’s what you’re there for, but not if you expect a hotel stay! The grounds and buildings are beautiful, but it needs a clearer explanation of what you are going to.

Room was very presentable with a large bathroom and a nice walk in shower. Room facilities were a good standard and even had a small fridge. Breakfast was ok but a little disorganised and had to ask for cups rather than the prevalent paper cups. Parking wasn't great if you arrived at the hotel late evening. The 2 mile drive with humps every 400? yards from the public road became a little annoying by the third day.
