It isn't the first time that latin Americans have assumed that I am a moron because I am a gringo. The boys at the reception were so unintentionally condescending that I thought they were going to come out and pat me on the head. It was raining. I had a pregnant wife and two-year old outside. I wanted to get my room and bring them inside as quickly as possible, but I am getting delayed with speeches about little men on a rod in the game room that can play soccer with a little wooden ball AND that US dollars are not accepted in the stores in Chile. "We have our own currency here, it is called a peso." I'm not making this up. Finally a manager came out and got us set up in our room.

Advice

Small but nice pool with enough room for everybody when we were there. Amazing view from pool. Our room was advertised as a room with ocean view which it was not. We where placed on first floor. Avoid first floor at all cost if you do not want to be on display for everyone who passes by on the street outside (see pictures).

Given its expansive size, the property faces challenges in maintaining cleanliness. The staff, predominantly young, seem disengaged and less inclined towards hospitality, often appearing more as security personnel than hotel staff.

Lo más destacado es el personal. El lugar es hermoso por sí solo, pero lamentablemente la limpieza exterior deja muchísimo que desear, especialmente en piscina. Tuve que avisar para que la limpiaran y demoraron todo el día en hacerlo. Lo demás serían detalles.
