This property is a secluded oasis. If you want a relaxing stay to discount, this is the perfect stay. The villas were very lovely, the staff were wonderful and the food at the restaurant was flavorful. This was a solo birthday trip as a foreigner and they did an amazing job at accommodating my needs. Incredible boutique hotel! The food was the best we had in Bahia and the beach is super quiet and isolated, ideal to what we wanted. The pool in the middle of the jungle is beautiful and we stayed there watching the monkeys playing on the trees. The Vila we stayed was beachfront and had a nice private pool and I would stay there many other nights if I could.

Our stay at Vila dos Orixás in Morro de São Paulo was absolutely amazing! The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and made us feel like royalty during our time there. Their warm hospitality and excellent service truly enhanced our experience. The food at the hotel was outstanding, with a fantastic blend of local flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed. Each meal was a culinary delight, and we looked forward to dining at the hotel every day. While we had a fantastic stay overall, the only downside was the air conditioning not working properly in our room. It was a bit uncomfortable at times, especially during the warm nights. Additionally, dealing with mosquitoes due to the mangrove floret was a bit challenging, especially knowing that the government restrictions prevented the hotel from addressing the issue. Despite these minor inconveniences, our time at Vila dos Orixás was truly special. The beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and delicious food made our stay unforgettable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in Morro de São Paulo.

While I understand the hotel’s policies, my experience as a solo traveler was quite difficult due to a major lack of communication. The staff does not speak English, which left me feeling isolated—especially considering the amount I spent to stay here. No one greeted me upon arrival, no one said good morning or hello during my stay, and overall, the hospitality felt lacking because of the language barrier. While I don’t speak Portuguese fluently, being the only guest in my section of the hotel with no one making an effort to communicate was quite sad. A major issue occurred right before my departure when the hotel, without my permission or any communication, placed my belongings in a shuttle and sent them away. As a result, I had to wait 30 minutes to retrieve them. This level of miscommunication made an already isolating experience even more frustrating. Additionally, while the hotel does offer shuttle options, if you don’t speak Portuguese, you’ll likely miss the entire introduction to the hotel upon arrival, leaving you confused about many aspects of your stay. The island itself is very remote, and while that can be a beautiful experience, I would not recommend staying here alone as an American unless you are fluent in Portuguese. That said, the food was amazing, and the staff was kind despite the challenges in communication. If you do decide to visit, be sure to bring lots and lots of mosquito repellent.

Um hotel que faz a gente querer repetir mil vezes… fica na praia mais afastada e mais bonita de Morro de São Paulo, mas o hotel oferece transfer gratuito para o centrinho em diversos horários, então a distância não é um problema. Aliás, é até um bônus pois a praia é praticamente particular. Agora, o mais agradável desse hotel, sem dúvida são os funcionários maravilhosos (Danilo, Wiliam, Kalimar, Vera, Cleiton) e tantos outros, sempre sorridentes, simpáticos, dando dicas preciosas e nos envolvendo em conversas muito agradáveis! Que saudade que vou sentir de vocês! O café da manhã, não posso deixar de mencionar, é excepcional, especial mesmo! Esse hotel é um excelente custo benefício e já estamos programando as próximas férias por lá, pois três dias não foram suficientes!

Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa. Apesar do hotel estar localizado longe do centro, foi esta a magia do hotel. Ter a sensação de uma praia paradisíaca só para você e sua família. Agua cristalina e quente, uma praia particular. Nosso bangalô era grande, confortável e bem equipado. Café da manhã muito bom também. O pessoal, em especial Danilo (garçom) nos atenderam muito bem. Acho que precisa melhorar no café da manhã, o restaurante do jantar é maravilhoso, mas o café nao tem nada que chame atenção! Poderia ter um ventilador no quarto além do ar condicionado, o chuveiro é fraco, a limpeza ficou a dever em função de umas centopeias pequenas que apareciam todos os dias no banheiro e na cama, melhorar a academia , melhorar o atendimento também , minha companheira teve uma diarreia, vômito e febre e se não fosse a recepcionista que tinha um remédio pessoal dela , teríamos ficado sem remédio pois o hotel não tinha !
